Our organization is well prepared to respond any kind of natural calamities, for this we equips and trains the community in response during a crisis situation or a disaster which involves practices, delivers hands-on training for disaster management.
So far we carried out activities when the disaster occurred are evacuation, relocation and relief measures of fishermen community, schedule tribe residing in coastal areas in collaboration and support of local government and other organizations. We arranged basic amenities like food, shelter, cloths and medical facilities to the victims.
We majorly focused on cyclone prone areas on east coast of Bay of Bengal. So far we responded to all the natural calamities and also aftermath of disasters we contribute rehabilitation measures including health and education apart from psycho-social support.
