Consumer Education and Empowerment Initiative program was implemented with financial support of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. Under this program we covered 300000 tribal people residing in 375 villages of Prakasam, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore and Y.S.R. Kadapa districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Implementation of program:
- Educated target population on Consumer Rights.
- Solved all the issues raised regarding Consumer Protection.
- Strengthened the existing structures for Consumer Protection even after completion of project period by forming Village level committees.
- Created environment for the Consumers to enjoy quality, safety and price of the goods in the market.
